 Style Spotlight On: Sisters In Success, a benefit fashion show & auction:

 To quote Shakespeare: "Eyes! Do you see? How can it be?"
Could this be a fashion show sponsored by Kat's Kloset, with all the models styled by little ol' moi?

That's right kids, Working Women International has agreed to give me......a microphone....so in addition to all the amazing styling tips you'll pick up from the model's outfits via colors, patterns and accessories, but I'll be there live, hosting the whole blowout event!

See something you love and just can't live without on one of our models? 
You can bid on it and take it home that night! (And since they're all styled by me, your very dear, close friend in fashion, you'll have total confidence knowing it's a chic look!) All items are work attire and career friendly, so if you find yourself struggling to put together that perfect work look--BOOM! It's already done for you!
Disclaimer--no shoes are part of the auction so don't get any ideas on the footwear girls...those belong to the models! :)

All outfits on the models will come from 925 Boutique, so for those of you naughty girls out there who haven't been in to shop can see what you've been missing!

All proceeds go right back into the career closet program for Working Women International (www.workingwomeninternational.org), and to support 925 Boutique at 216 Douglas Blvd. in Roseville. Entry is only $10.00 cash donation or free with your donation of a gently used but still amazing career friendly clothing item.

Entry can be purchased ahead of time on Eventbrite, or paid/donated at the door--remember that your dollars are going to support and assist local women in need.

Style Spotlight On: Work Wear For The Week, From 925 Boutique!

Hey there StyleWise Guys and Fellow Fashionistas!

Let's get down to business, shall we?
Since we all know work is my runway (never walk--strut), here's a week's worth of fashion from this blogger's arsenal of go-to locations, 925 Boutique. (Seriously, everything featured per item was no more than $9.00--really.....)

(Oooh! and tiny disclaimer, they don't do shoes, but...)... they do accessories like jewelry, scarves and purses.
Bring in your donations of gently used but no longer desired office wear--it's good Karma, plus an excuse to shop.....like we needed a reason!!

So here's Monday--liven up a geometric print on a neutral like brown with pink/purple accessories. Add a glint of gold for some shine and done (dress: Dress Barn):

Tuesday--play up a gray dress with minimalist accessories and the red heel? Just the right pop of color (dress, Banana Republic):

Wednesday--take the Safari trend into the office in an upscale, polished way (skirt, necklace and blouse all from 925 Boutique!):

Thursday--pull a gray dress out of the winter palette by adding brightly accessories and a bold abstract floral D'orsay pump (dress, H&M, also from 925 Boutique):

Friday--taking red and black from expected to bright with bold silver hardware; the peep toe sho-bootie keeps the look strong but still feminine (cotton midi- circle skirt, also a 925 Boutique steal):

So, today's lesson? Style for a steal can be reality if you know where to look (and if you haven't been into this boutique then for SHAME--the deals in there are just too good to pass up, with new items coming in all the time).
Hint--a little birdie told me they just got a HUGE donation of high end items to hit the shelves this weekend.....but Shhhhh!!!! You didn't hear it from moi...... :)
